The Art of Transformation

The Art of Transformation marked the opening project of 2025 and symbolized a period of change, both for the organization and the participating artists. The exhibition explored transformation as a layered concept: personal, societal, and artistic. Visitors were invited to reflect on the ways change manifests themselves in everyday life and within creative processes.

The group exhibition took place simultaneously at two locations — De Zolder and CULT=US — thereby emphasizing the importance of collaboration and exchange within Rotterdam’s cultural infrastructure. The opening weekend brought together audiences, artists, and partners, marking not only the beginning of the annual program, but also the continued positioning of De Zolder within the city.
