Exhibition

Fleeting and Tangible identities; the self through screens

Fleeting and Tangible Identities explored how identity is formed within contemporary digital culture. The exhibition focused on the interplay between the physical and the digital self, and raised questions about visibility, representation, protection, and vulnerability in a world increasingly mediated by screens.

Through photography, video, textiles, sculpture, installation, and AI, the participating artists reflected on how technology shapes and distorts our self-image. The exhibition invited visitors to consider the influence of algorithms, surveillance, and digital systems on personal and collective identity.

As part of the program, Yasemin Kevser curated a series of film evenings that aligned thematically with the exhibition, including a special Halloween edition. These screenings provided additional context and depth.
